The Guide to Creative Montréal's Quartier Latin, Centre-Sud and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) tour offers a foray into the fields of performing arts, visual arts (art galleries and public artworks), digital arts, music and design.
At the eastern end of the Quartier des Spectacles, the Quartier Latin spreads out around the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and its arts scene is closely linked to the university, as live venues and art galleries can be found right on the UQAM campus. Heading east, the tour then crosses the trendy and proud working-class neighbourhoods of Centre-Sud and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, with countless bookstores, record stores, cafes, restaurants and shops where you can stop along the way.
